DriveSafe Course Status

Due to the current coronavirus situation, all DriveSafe face-to-face classroom courses have been CANCELLED until 13 June 2020.

However we are now offering an online digital classroom National Speed Awareness Course. You can book an online digital course regardless of which police force in the UK offered you a course - just choose 'Manchester' when you're booking your course online.


We’re working really hard to assist our clients during these difficult times - please do not call us unless you really need to. We are currently receiving high call volumes and your call is likely to take a considerable time to be answered.

Please read the following information carefully which is different depending on the PARTICULAR COURSE TYPE you have been offered:


National Speed Awareness Course ONLY

If your offence took place after 1 February 2020:

• You should be able to book (or re-arrange) on to classroom courses after 12 June 2020 as usual. You can do this by accessing your police record at https://offer.ndors.org.uk then follow these instructions:

REGISTER: Enter your Police Reference Number & PIN (from your Police Course Offer letter) OR your Police Reference Number & Driving Licence Number (in the PIN field instead of a PIN).

OR

LOGIN: If you have previously opted to create an account, and have validated your email address, you can login with your email address and password. If you did not create an account, and would like to now create an account, you can do so using the “Forgot your Password” and providing the email address you provided during Registration.

• From your Dashboard, click on "Access My Courses" to review your current course booking and to rebook a course. Clicking on “rebook my course” will then take you to our online booking website.

• We recommend you choose a course date as late as possible in case further courses are cancelled as the coronavirus situation changes.

If your offence took place in December 2019 or January 2020:

  • You should now be able to book (or rearrange) an online digital classroom course by following the instructions above.

  • The two-and-a-half hour course will take place online using the digital platform ZOOM with up to 8 clients and our Trainer. You will need access to a device i.e tablet, laptop or desktop with microphone and camera with reliable internet connection capable of streaming video. Smart phones may be used, however the course will be far more effective if you have a larger screen. More information can be found on our Speed Awareness Course page.

If your offence took place before 1 December 2019:

• We regret we are now unable to offer you a course as the deadline set by the police has now passed.

• We shall automatically refund your course fee as soon as possible (within 21 days).

• If you have a further query regarding your situation, please contact the police force that offered you the course (please see your original course offer letter from the police). For courses offered by Greater Manchester Police only please email cto.enquiries@gmp.police.uk


National Motorway Awareness Course and

If your offence took place after 1 February 2020:

  • You may be able to book (or rearrange) a course soon. We are currently exploring other options for the delivery of our courses which are different to our classroom-based sessions. All of our teams are working from home and we want to make sure we can deliver the best possible solution to our clients.

  • Further details will be published here on Wednesday 8 April and all clients who are currently booked onto courses between 1 May and 12 June 2020 will be contacted by us soon to confirm the next steps.

Safe and Considerate Driving Course

If your incident took place after 1 February 2020:

Safer Driving for Longer

We regret our Safer Driving for Longer seminar planned for 21 April 2020 and other Safer Driving for Longer courses have been postponed to later in the year. New dates will be published on the Safer Driving for Longer page when more information is known.
