From Saturday 13 August, until the end of Friday 19 August, there will be closures on the Bury line.
- Between Wednesday 17 and the end of Friday 19 August, no services will operate between Bury and Queens Road.
To maximise the use of this line closure a number of engineering works are planned to take place during this period:

The re-railing of approximately 4,400 metres of inbound and outbound track between Bury and Radcliffe trams stops as part of essential maintenance.

On-track work to support the construction of a new power substation near to Heaton Park, which will help provide more power to additional trams on the Bury Metrolink line as part of the Metrolink Capacity Improvement Programme.

The renewal of parts of the overhead line tensioning system to ensure the ongoing resilience of these assets and reduce and minimise the risk of future failure that might cause disruption.
Services will resume in full along the Bury Metrolink line from the first tram in service on Saturday 20 August.
Wednesday 17 until the end of Friday 19 August
From Wednesday 17 until the end of Friday 19 August, no tram services will operate between Bury and Queens Road.
Tram services will operate as follows:
- Every 12 minutes between Queens Road and Piccadilly.
- And, in addition during peak times, every 12 minutes between Queens Road and Altrincham.
Replacement bus services will operate as follows:
- Every 6 minutes between Bury and Victoria from 7am to 8pm
- Every 12 minutes between Bury and Victoria before 7am and after 8pm
There is no ticket acceptance in place on commercial bus services.

From Bury to Victoria
- The first bus will depart at 5.25am and the last bus at 11.57pm.
- Additional peak time services will begin at 6.07am and run until 7.55pm.
From Victoria to Bury
- The first bus will depart at 5.14am and the last bus at 11.46pm.
- Additional peak time services will begin at 6.16am and run until 8.04pm.

Jubilee Way Roadworks
From Monday 15 August, works will take place at the junction of Manchester Road, Jubilee Way & Angouleme Way in Bury.
During this time, lane closures and temporary signals will be used off-peak (9.30am to 3pm)
Traffic management will be removed outside of these times and permanent signals restored.
Between 9.30am and 3pm there may be slight delays to repalcement bus services. Please allow additional time for travel to limit impact to your journey.
If you already have a Metrolink ticket and plan to use the bus replacement service, please ensure that your pass is valid for the date of your journey and that you touch-in and touch-out at the on-stop validators before boarding the bus.
Alternatively, you can purchase tickets the day before you travel using your smart card (getmethere.com), or use the app to buy weekend, 7-day or 28-day travelcards.
