Many people across Greater Manchester have returned to work and school, and we all need to play our part in keeping everyone safe.

  • Cycle or walk where possible and avoid the busiest times of day for journeys.
  • You must wear a face covering when travelling or shopping (unless you’re exempt).
  • Keep your distance from other people and clean your hands frequently.
  • A rigorous cleaning regime is in place at bus stations and interchanges.
  • Operators are also cleaning buses, trams and trains more regularly, and social distancing measures have been introduced.
  • If you’re displaying any symptoms of the virus, stay at home, don’t use public transport and get a test.
  • Bus, train and tram timetables have changed in recent months, and will continue to do so. Check the latest information before your make a journey.
  • Traffic volumes are on the rise, so consider how and when you are going to drive and whether your intended route is the quickest option.
