
In October 2018 we revamped our Metroshuttle service, introducing later running times, extending the city centre routes to Salford Central during the peak, and rebranding the service as free bus.
Now with a distinctive yellow livery, they also all feature a quote about Manchester and an abstract pattern that weaves in elements of Manchester’s rich heritage such as graphene, cotton, bees and music
The free bus service helps residents, workers and tourists get around Manchester city centre quickly, easily and safely. By encouraging more people to leave their cars at home free bus helps reduce congestion and improve air quality and the later running service will help boost Manchester’s night-time economy.
