Last year we relaunched our staff volunteering scheme, Giving Something Back. It entitles TfGM staff to have one full-day each year to take part in a good cause and helps them find rewarding and useful opportunities.
Since September 2018 staff have volunteered at Hollinwood Scout Camp, FareShare and Community Forrest Trust. In total 43 staff have volunteered more than 318 hours.
Volunteering helps our staff reduce stress, learn new skills and make new friends. It also helps us forge new links with local communities and better understand our customers and the communities we serve.
