Privacy notice

Transport for Greater Manchester (“TfGM”) has received funding from London Marathon Trust (“LMCT”) to run a 3-year project to encourage local communities to be more active through walking and cycling. This is the launch of the project and will run until 2023. We have created an online EOI Form for Community groups/individuals to register their interest in taking part of the LMCT ‘Cycle and Stride for Active Lives’ project; to encourage local communities to get active through walking and cycling.

The data collected will provide us with some basic details about the person/group including name; what type of group they are, where they’re located, what their project idea is, and contact information. The purpose of this is so we can see at a glance whether a person/group meets the criteria to take part in the project and gives us contact details so we can contact them personally to discuss the project further. No personal data will be provided to Third Parties.

If you are aged 13 and under, please make sure that you obtain appropriate parental/guardian consent before filling out the form and provide us with appropriate parental/guardian contact details.

TfGM will process your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It should be noted though that information provided, including personal information, may be subject to disclosure in accordance with the access to information regimes. These are primarily the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004, the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Therefore, if we receive a request for disclosure of the information we cannot give an assurance that confidentiality can be maintained in all circumstances.

Further details of how TfGM process your personal data provided during the consultation and for details of how you can exercise your rights, you can visit TfGM'sprivacy policy.

If you no longer wish for us to use your personal information, you have a right to have the relevant information deleted. Please email before the closure of the forms on 31/10/2023.
