Who's it for?

This is for you if you already cycle but would like to build more confidence riding alongside traffic.

Sessions are open to those over the age of 12 (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).

What we are doing to ensure your safety?

• This training takes place outdoors and in an unrestricted place, so allows for easy social distancing
• Guidance will be issued to participants on registration about things they need to consider before the session.
• Instructors are fully briefed on best practice to ensure your and their safety
• If you are feeling unwell please cancel your session at the earliest opportunity

How it works

If you’re interested in a course, simply complete your details on our registration page and one of our instructing team will be in touch to discuss your session.

They will take into account your current level of cycling and any particular needs or concerns (such as wanting to undertake a specific journey) and also talk you through how the session will be run in line with the Government’s Coronavirus guidelines. The session will then be designed to suit you, including taking place at a time and location of your choice.

Please note that you need to have a bike to take part.

What you'll learn

You'll learn how to plan a route, communicate with other road-users, take the safest position on the road and anticipate others' behaviour to ride confidently in busy traffic. If you're still a novice rider, you'll learn bike-control and skills in a quiet area first.

With one-to-one coaching from an expert instructor, you'll get personal support to learn the skills to get out on the road. We will meet you at a place of your choice, during the day or evening, and put you through real-life road riding situations.

What you need

You’ll need to bring your own bike and wear whatever you feel comfortable cycling in.
