Driving an electric vehicle

Did you know that Tesla's Model S P100D is one of the fastest accelerating production cars in the world?

You might not think of driving performance and speed being associated with electric vehicles. But, unlike gas engines, instant torque from the battery engine means they are a lot quicker than you might realise.

Unlike gas powered engines, electric vehicles can accelerate immediately thanks to 100% torque availability at all times.

As well as being quick to accelerate there’s none of the heavy and noisy components of a traditional engine, so they’re extremely quiet.

Most electric vehicles also have their batteries in the floor, resulting in a low centre of gravity and excellent handling.
