Simple and clear low bus fares are here to support people in Greater Manchester with the increased cost of living.

This means:

  • Single journeys cost £2 for adults and £1 for children.
  • A day of unlimited travel using any bus costs £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
  • A week of unlimited travel by bus in Greater Manchester costs £21 for adults and £10.50 for children.

Lower fares are an important part of the Bee Network, our vision for an integrated, London-style public transport system in Greater Manchester.

In September 2023, bus services in Bolton and Wigan, as well as parts of Salford and Bury, will come under local control. More services will continue to come under local control until January 2025.
