The creators of the award-winning Lightopia Festival present, Dino Kingdom: an epic prehistoric exploration landing in Manchester from Friday 23 July to Sunday 15 August.
The event takes place outdoors in Wythenshawe Park from 10am to 7pm each day.

The Metrolink is a great way to get to see Dino Kingdom. The nearest Metrolink stop is Wythenshawe Park on the Manchester Airport line.
To get to the Park and Hall, walk east along Wythenshawe Road (B5167) for about 3/4 mile. The park is on your right.
Taking the family? Take advantage of the Metrolink family 1-day travelcard, which can be used to travel across the whole network for just £7.30 (allows 2 adults and 3 mini-rex to travel). Alternatively, you can buy a family weekend travelcard for just £9.50.

Park and Ride
If you are travelling on the Manchester Airport line, there is also a relatively close, and free, Park and Ride site which you can use to hop on the tram and avoid the traffic:
- Sale Water Park with 285 spaces (Rifle Road, Sale M33 2LX)
The following bus routes have bus stops close to the entrance of the park:
- 11a Stockport to Altrincham: Every 30 mins and 60 mins in the evening
- 19 Altrincham to Wythenshawe: Every 20 mins and 60 mins in the evening
- 41 Middleton to Sale: Every 30 mins
- 44 Piccadilly to Wythenshawe: Every 60 mins until 17:43
- 101 Piccadilly to Wythenshawe: Every 15 mins and 30 mins in the evening

Walking and Cycling
If you live locally why not stretch those legs and walk to the event or for a quicker journey get on your bike!
There are two National Cycle Network routes that come through Wythenshawe Park from South Manchester areas, NCN85 and NCN 558. There will be bike parking available in the car park.
The best way to see Dino Kingdom is by using public transport. However, if you are driving towards Wythenshawe Park you can leave the M60 at Junction 5, or M56 at Junction 3, onto Princess Parkway; turn off onto B5167, Wythenshawe Road, west bound.
Then follow the yellow event signage. Go past the entrance to Wythenshawe Park on Wythenshawe Road, then turn left onto Moor Road and then left onto Altringham Road, then after half a mile, turn left into Wythenshawe Park.

There are some car parks available however spaces may be limited depending on the time of day. It is advised that you make sure you book tickets.
It is advised to leave the car at home and take one of the several public transport options available.
