England will host the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 in July.
Italy will take on Belgium at the City Football Academy Stadium on Monday 18 July at 8pm.
The stadium lies around two miles north east of Manchester city centre, with plenty of public transport services running to the stadium.
If you're travelling to watch the fixture our key advice is:
- Metrolink services operate from Manchester city centre to the Velopark stop, directly opposite the stadium, on the Ashton line.
- A number of bus services also run from the north side of Piccadilly Gardens, in the city centre, directly to the stadium. The 216 service is the most frequent of these.
- There is limited parking available around the stadium. Official car parking arrangements will be announced closer to the time.
Further information on the different modes is available below.
A fast and frequent tram service runs straight to City Football Academy Stadium. The closest tram stop is Velopark on the Ashton line.
If you're travelling from the city centre, you will need to purchase a zone 1+2 ticket which will cover your journey there and back. This costs £3.50.
The journey from Manchester Piccadilly Station to Velopark takes less than 10 minutes.
Tickets can be bought on stop via the ticket machines or via the on-stop contactless machines.
If you decide to pay for your ticket via contactless, please remember that the ticket you are purchasing is for one adult only and you will need to touch-in at the start of your journey and out at the end. You do not need to touch-out when switching lines.
It is not possible to touch-in and out for multiple tickets, so if you are travelling with children, a child or family travelcard will need to be purchased from the ticket machine.
Manchester is well served by rail, so why not beat the matchday traffic and take the train!

The ground is also only a Metrolink ride (10 minutes) from Piccadilly Station in the city centre or a short walk away (20 minutes).
