⚠️ Works will commence on Monday 12 April 2021 for a period of up to nine months on the following section of highway:
Liverpool Street, Salford between Albion Way and Oldfield Road.
The works involve the full reconstruction of the carriageway, footpaths and cycle lanes, this will also include upgrading of the signals and drainage.

🚦 The use of temporary signals can be expected throughout the scheme.
🔴 From 19 April works will commence on A6 Chapel Street which will further impact journey times and congestion in the area. Motorists should plan to use quicker routes before every journey.
✔️ This page will be updated throughout the works, with any new traffic management plans, journey time data and further information on how to improve yur journey.
The segregated cycle lanes will remain in place for the majority of the works. The cycle lane connects to Salford University (via Chapel Street) and towards Manchester City Centre.
