Advice for drivers šŸš—

šŸš§ Lane closures are in place in Swinton town centre affecting journey times on the A6 and on other local roads.

šŸ“… The works are expected to be completed in June 2021.

šŸš§ The current phase of works is at the junction of A6 Chorley Road, Partington Lane and Station Road.

šŸš¦ Day time three-way signals are in place alongside lane closures. The signals will be in operation daily from 7.30am until 5pm.

šŸŸ¢ Drivers should re-time their journey to quieter periods of the day and allow an extra 10 minutes for your trip.

šŸŸ¢ Shorter and single purpose journeys may be quicker by walking and cycling.
