Advice for drivers 🚗
🚧 Lane closures are in place in Swinton town centre affecting journey times on the A6 and on other local roads.
📅 The works are expected to be completed in June 2021.
🚧 The current phase of works is at the junction of A6 Chorley Road, Partington Lane and Station Road.
🚦 Day time three-way signals are in place alongside lane closures. The signals will be in operation daily from 7.30am until 5pm.
🟢 Drivers should re-time their journey to quieter periods of the day and allow an extra 10 minutes for your trip.
🟢 Shorter and single purpose journeys may be quicker by walking and cycling.
All bus services are still operating during the works but may be subject to delays. Check your bus timetable here.
