For operational reasons occasionally we may need to temporarily switch the feed off, not update the video clip for a period of time or point the camera away from the road.
The images we provide through this website are used for the purpose of providing advice to the public about the real-time congestion on some of the roads in Greater Manchester.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) process the personal data in these images because it is necessary for a task in the public interest, namely meeting our obligations in s99 of the Local Transport Act 2008.
The images published on this website are refreshed approximately every 20 seconds, and not held for longer than this. They are automatically deleted when they are overwritten with the next image.
