The Christmas markets return to Manchester from Friday 8 November.

More than 300 stalls and chalets will be spread across the city centre, with gifts, crafts and an array of food and drink.

The transport network is expected to be busier than usual over the Christmas period as there are a number of festive events across Greater Manchester.

Journey times are likely to increase during the run up to New Year, so you should plan ahead if you are visiting the markets or simply travelling around the local area.

We have provided help and advice to keep your sled moving so you can prepare and minimise the impact on your Christmas travel and shopping trips.
