Blackrod Bypass closure will close from its junction with Chorley Road for 100 metres.
The closure will be in place from Wednesday 15 November until Tuesday 12 December.
Traffic will divert via Black Horse Street and Station Road.
During the closure, the 575 service will operate on diversion via Chorley Road, Grimeford Lane, Bolton Road and Chorley New Road.
