Oldham Road, Poland Street and Radium Street works

From Monday 13 May, until early September, work will take place on Oldham Road, Poland Street and Radium Street as part of the Ancoats Streets for all scheme.

During the works there will be lane closures on Oldham Road with a road closure on Radium Street later in the scheme for installation of traffic signal equipment.

The scheme will be broken into areas, with different traffic management for each area, estimated durations and traffic management can be found below.

• Area 1 – 13 May to mid May
  Oldham Road central reservation works with lane closures on the inbound and outbound carriageway closest to the central reserve.

• Area 2 – 28 May to mid July
  Oldham Road north side works with one lane closed on the outbound carriageway from the south of Radium Street to the north of Poland Street.

• Area 3 – 16 July to late July
  Oldham Road inbound lane closure at Poland Street, Poland Street one way in a southeast direction.

• Area 4 – 30 July to mid August
  Oldham Road inbound lane closure at Radium Street, Radium Street closed, a diversion will be signed locally.

• Resurfacing and installation of signal equipment – mid August to early September
