From Wednesday 24 July to Monday 19 August, work will take place close to Shudehill tram stop and, at the same time, Market Street tram stop.
During this time, no trams will operate between Market Street and Shudehill.
A signed walking route will be put in place between the stops and a bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria.
Customer wishing to travel to Piccadilly station, or on the Ashton line, will be able to connect to services at St Peter's Square.
Please plan ahead and allow extra time for your journeys while these essential Metrolink renewal works takes place.

Monday-Saturday
All services in the city centre will operate via Exchange Square.
- Bury – Altrincham
- Bury – Altrincham (additional peak-time service)
- Ashton-under-Lyne – Eccles (via MediaCityUK)
- Etihad Campus – MediaCityUK (peak-time) / Cornbrook (outside of peak-time)
- Rochdale Town Centre – East Didsbury
- Shaw & Crompton – East Didsbury (Peak)
- Manchester Airport – Victoria
- Trafford Centre – Deansgate-Castlefield
Services will operate every 12 minutes.
Sunday
- Bury – Altrincham
- Ashton-under-Lyne – Eccles (via MediaCityUK)
- Etihad Campus – Cornbrook
- Rochdale Town Centre – East Didsbury
- Manchester Airport – Victoria
- Trafford Centre – Deansgate-Castlefield
Services will operate every 15 minutes.
Impact to other modes of transport
Shudehill will be closed where the tram tracks cross the road, and a signed diversion route will be put in place for drivers and cyclists.
Access to Manchester Arndale multi story car park will remain in place during the works.
