For every Manchester City match, Transport for Greater Manchester and Manchester City operate bus services direct to the Etihad.
A total of 18 buses will operate for each game and you can access more information regarding these routes below.
The buses have helped to provide an increasingly sustainable option for travelling to and from the Etihad Stadium, with more than a thousand people travelling on the buses each matchday.
The buses will run for every Men’s First Team match at the Etihad Stadium, including all Premier League, Champions League, and domestic cup competitions throughout the 2026/27 season.
Full details of the bus routes, ticket fares and timetables are available by clicking on the routes below.

Shuttle buses to Manchester city centre and Ashton
For the Norwich and Sunderland fixtures, we will be trialling a change to the City Centre Shuttle Bus boarding location.
Due to delays to bus departures, caused by the post-match road closures on Ashton New Road, City Centre Shuttle Buses will load from the eastbound carriageway of Ashton New Road (the opposite side of the road to where they usually depart from after the match).
This change should allow buses to depart sooner and improve the journey home for supporters.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we test this new arrangement.
As well as the Match Day Buses, there are also post-match shuttle buses to Manchester city centre and Ashton.
Buses will depart once full
- Thirteen buses will operate to the city centre from Ashton New Road in the lay-by. These buses will depart when it's safe to do so, approximately 20-25 minutes after the final whistle.
- Two buses will operate to Ashton from the lay-by next to the Velopark Metrolink stop.
