Stop alteration for Stalybridge

Due to works taking place in Armentieres Square in Stalybridge, the bus stop will be closed until August 2026. Please make your way to the bus stop on High Street (near Forester Drive) to board the Match Day Bus 3.

Stop alteration for Audenshaw

There is a permanent change to the Audenshaw stop location for Match Day Bus 3. Customers must now board and alight the bus services opposite the Sun Inn on Shepley Road.

Please note that the stop is the same for both the Etihad-bound trip and the return journey. This is your drop off and pick up point for the Etihad.

Buying a ticket

Buying your ticket is simple – all you need to do is get on board and purchase your ticket from the driver. Both cash and contactless payment via card or mobile device are accepted.

We do not offer tickets on an advanced purchase basis, and you will need to buy a ticket to travel. Don’t forget to keep your ticket safe in case you are asked to show it to a member of staff.

Fares

All stops on this route are located in Zone 1.

Adult tickets are priced at £3 for a single or £6 for a return.
Under 16 tickets are priced at £1.50 for a single or £3 for a return.
Children under the age of five can now travel for free.
Older people and those with disabilities will be eligible to travel for free provided they are in possession of a National Concessionary Travel Pass.

No other tickets or passes will be accepted (I.E. AnyBus day/week/monthly tickets).
