Bury Interchange Regeneration Works - Angouleme Way

Sunday 2 March - Tuesday 30 September 2025

Beginning on Sunday 2nd March, works will be taking place in Bury Town Centre as part of the on-going project of regeneration.

From Sunday to Thursday, between the overnight hours of 7pm and 5am, services travelling away from Bury Interchange will not operate via Murray Street. Whilst the works are on-going, some services will be diverting via alternative nearby routes, during these times (please see Bus Diversions section below).

The following bus stops, will not be served during the hours of 7pm and 5am, Monday to Friday:

Angouleme Way/Bury Market (Stop DD)
Angouleme Way/Bury Market (Stop EE)
Angouleme Way/Bury Market (Stop FF)
Derby Way, opposite Primary Care Centre (NC0976)

The following services will divert via Bury Market, Jubliee Way and Peel Way:

- 163: Services will continue to divert via Derby Way, Rochdale Road,before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or at the temporary stop outside Marks and Spencer on Derby Street.

- 433: Services will continue to divert via Derby Way, Rochdale Road,before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or at the temporary stop outside Marks and Spencer on Derby Street.

- 467: Services will continue to divert via Bell Lane, before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or first stop on Bell Lane.

- 468: Services will continue to divert via Bell Lane, before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or first stop on Bell Lane.

- 471: Services will continue to divert via Derby Way, Rochdale Road,before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or at the temporary stop outside Marks and Spencer on Derby Street.

- 472: Services will continue to divert via Walmersley Road, before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or first stop on Walmersley Road.

- 483: Services will continue to divert via Walmersley Road, before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or first stop on Walmersley Road.

- 487: Services will continue to divert via Walmersley Road, before resuming normal route. Passengers are advised to board at Bury Interchange or first stop on Walmersley Road.
