Ardwick Engineering Works

On Sunday 17 May from the start of service until 12.30pm, rail engineering works will be taking place at Ardwick, between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport.

Whilst the works are being carried out, services from Manchester Piccadilly to Stockport and Manchester Airport will not operate, whilst other routes will be operating an altered service.

Whilst the works are taking place (from the start of service until 12.30pm), the following changes will be in place to train services:

No services will operate from Piccadilly towards Stockport & Manchester Airport
No services will operate from Piccadilly towards Oxford Road
Northern services between Manchester Piccadilly and Blackpool North will run on an ammended timetable
Northern Services between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester & Hadfield/Glossop will not run

Amended services will also run between:

Stockport and Sheffield / Doncaster / Cleethorpes
Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Oxford Road
Glasgow Central / Edinburgh and Preston
Newcastle / York and Manchester Victoria

Whilst the works are taking place the following rail replacement services will be in operation:

Manchester Airport to Piccadilly (multiple stops)
Manchester Airport to Bolton (direct)
Piccadilly to Chester
Piccadilly to Chinley
Piccadilly to Hadfield and Godley-Hadfield
Victoria to Manchester Airport
Preston to Manchester Airport via Piccadilly
Piccadilly to Huddersfield
Piccadilly to Crewe, via Stockport and Wilmslow
Piccadilly to Stockport
Piccadilly to Sheffield
