Free bus 1 will serve an alternative route starting at Fairfield Street Stop D and serving London Road, Aytoun Street, Auburn Street, Charlotte Street, Spring Gardens, King Street, Cross Street, St Mary's Gate, Deansgate, John Dalton Street, Portland Street and terminating on Fairfield Street.

Free bus 2 will divert via Princess Street, Whitworth Street, Aytoun Street and Auburn Street.

191 & 197 Inbound services towards Manchester will divert via Charles Street, Princess Street. Services will depart and terminate at Stop SY India House.

X41 & X43 Friday PM peak outbound services will depart from Piccadilly Stand and divert via London Road, Newton Street and Great Ancoats Street.
