National Highways will be undertaking barrier works and resurfacing of the M60 between Junctions 23 and 24 over the next few weeks. To do this safely, a series of overnight and weekend closures will be in place on the M60 between Junctions 23 and 24, in both anti-clockwise (ACW) and clockwise (CW) directions.

Anti-clockwise (J24 → J23)
• Mon 29 June 2026: Full overnight closure, 23:00 – 06:00
• Mon 6 July 2026: Full overnight closure, 00:00 – 06:00
• Fri 10 July 2026: Full overnight closure, 21:00 – 06:00
• Sat 11 July 2026: Lane 1 closed, 06:00 – 21:00
• Sat 11 July (21:00) – Mon 13 July (06:00): Full weekend closure
Clockwise (J23 → J24)
• Mon 13 July 2026: Full overnight closure, 21:00 – 06:00 (this date may be reprogrammed)
• Fri 17 July 2026: Full overnight closure, 21:00 – 06:00 (this date will clash with the overnight closure of M67 J4, in relation to the A57 Link Roads Scheme)
• Sat 18 July 2026: Lane 1 closed, 06:00 – 21:00
• Sat 18 July (21:00) – Mon 20 July (06:00): Full weekend closure
