National Highways is carrying out repair work on the M62 between Manchester and Warrington this weekend [12- 14 April].
Resurfacing works will take place on the M62 westbound carriageway between junction 12 (Eccles) and 11 (Birchwood). To complete the works safely, the westbound carriageway will be closed or reduced to two lanes.
To reduce disruption to road users, full closures of the carriageway will take place overnight. On Saturday night, the carriageway will close later, to minimise delays and disruptions for Gabrielle fans travelling back from the AO Arena.
No work will take place on the eastbound carriageway, which will be fully open during the works.
