1. Summary of the survey
Transport for Greater Manchester ["TfGM"] wants to conduct qualitative research to understand what impact the transition to Zero Emission Buses (ZEBs) has had on protected equality groups. This will involve collating detailed feedback on the experiences and perceptions of these groups using ZEBs.
The research will be conducted by interviewing those with protected characteristics that use buses around Greater Manchester. We have commissioned Savanta to undertake these interviews with members of the public on our behalf.
TfGM is the Data Controller for personal information collected during these interviews. This means that we decide how your personal data is processed and for what purposes. Savanta are the data processor, only processing your personal data on TfGM’s behalf.
2. What information we will collect from you
Participants will be asked for demographic data. This is to allow us to analyse whether certain demographical characteristics are common for the same views/experiences.
Demographic questions are optional and include:
- Age
- Ethnicity
- Gender
- Health and disability
Data collected from this research will be aggregated, so you will not be identified. Findings from the research may also be published.
3. How information is collected
Savanta will speak to bus users in and around Greater Manchester by way of in-depth interviews and accompanied travel-alongs.
