Who we are

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is committed to making sure that we tell you about the ways in which we use your personal information and that we have the right controls in place to make sure it is used responsibly and kept safe from inappropriate access, theft, or misuse.

On 25 November 2021 TfGM announced their White Ribbon Accreditation status, signifying their commitment to ending gender-based violence. The accreditation highlights TfGM’s ambition to deliver a transport network which is truly inclusive, addresses inequality and supports the Greater Manchester Strategy vision to make Greater Manchester one of the best places in the world for people to grow up, get on and grow old.

As an accredited organisation TfGM have committed to developing and delivering a three-year action plan that contributes to culture change and promotes gender equality to support safe travel for all.

To help inform the action plan, TfGM hosted a series of engagement workshops that explored the practical steps we can take to enable everyone to create an environment that encourages feelings of safety on public transport and in our streets.

To help inform the design of the future engagement activities of this nature we’ve created an online feedback survey. The online feedback survey will be hosted in Microsoft Forms. The survey will assess what improvements need to be made for engagement workshops. The survey will also ask a range of demographic questions. We ask for this data so that we can check how different people will be affected by our strategies and policies and ensure we hear from people of all backgrounds.

This notice explains how we will use your information and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
