Due to train crew unavailability, there maybe some short notice cancellations or alteration to timetables for Northern Rail services this weekend.
This will include:
- On Saturday [29 August], there will be fewer trains running between Manchester Piccadilly and Alderley Edge throughout the day.
- On Sunday [30 August], trains between Manchester Victoria and Blackburn via Todmorden will not run.
Customers are advised to check National Rail and allow extra time for their journey.
The below bus ticket acceptance will be in place to assist customers travelling on the day:

Airport line
368, 192, 42, 42C, 371 and 50
Ticket Acceptance is in place for Northern Rail customers on the Eccles, Airport and Rochdale Metrolink lines.
