These works will affect various different lines, and will be summarised below.

Transpennine Works: Saturday 2 - Sunday 26 May 2026
From Saturday 2 - Sunday 26 May railworks will be taking place between Huddersfield and Leeds as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade.
Whilst the works are ongoing, some services from Manchester to Leeds and Huddersfield will be impacted.
Ardwick Engineering Works: Sunday 17 May 2026
On Sunday 17 May 2026, engineering works will be taking place between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport, closing some lines.
From the start of service until 12.30pm, some journeys including from Manchester Piccadilly to Stockport and Manchester Airport will not operate.
