These works will affect various different lines, and will be summarised below.

Greek Street bridge replacement
From 1 March 2025, the Greek Street roundabout and part of the nearby roads will close for about a year as the main work begins.
Over Easter 2025, Network Rail will be carrying out work to the railway to prepare for the major work. There will be changes to train services during the Easter bank holiday.
Network Rail have closed the railway in Stockport for 21 days to remove the old bridge and install the new one.
