Journey time data shows that congestion is worse on the roads surrounding the school, especially at the end of the school day on B6178 Mount Road between 2.30pm-4pm.

The Stagecoach 150 bus serves Gorton, Longsight, Levenshulme, Fallowfield and Trafford. Students can board and alight the service on Mount Road next to the Academy.

The Academy is also only a short walk from A57 Hyde Road where several frequent buses serve Manchester, Gorton, Denton and Hyde.
