The Radclyffe School
Hunt Lane
Chadderton
Oldham
OL9 0LS
School hours: 8.35am to 2.50pm (1.50pm on alternate Wednesdays)
Journey time data shows that congestion is worse on the roads surrounding the school, especially at the end of the school day on A669 Middleton Road between 3-4pm.
To minimise this increased congestion spike, students and parents are encouraged to have a look at the public transport alternatives and dedicated school services below.
The 59 bus service is only a five-minute walk from the school and connects with Middleton and Oldham. Students can board and alight the service on Middleton Road (Via Hunt Lane).
Mills Hill station is a 15-minute walk to the school (or quicker on your bike). Check rail services are running before you leave home and have a backup plan (just in case they are not operating).
The below roadworks may delay your journey to and from school
⚠️ Temporary traffic signals on Middleton Rd, outside Chadderton Sports Centre from 9th to 15th March between 9:30am and 15:30pm whilst repair and maintenance works are undertaken by Electricity North West.
⚠️Temporary traffic signals on Middleton Road at the junction of Milne Street from 16th to 19th March between 9am and 4pm whilst a new pedestrian island is constructed by Oldham Council.
