Journey time data shows that congestion is worse on the roads surrounding the school, especially at the end of the school day on A56 Dunham Road between 3pm-4pm.
To minimise this increased congestion spike, students and parents are encouraged to have a look at the public transport alternatives and dedicated school services below.
From 25 April 2022, the £7.60 TfGM weekly ticket will no longer be available to purchase on the 758 service.
The System One weekly ticket, which allows a week’s travel on all operators’ services is available at a cost of £10.30 and can be purchased on the bus with an igo card.
The dedicated 750, 751, 752, 753, 755, 756, 757, 758, 759 and 760 school bus services operate from the school.

The school is less than a 10-minute walk from Altrincham interchange where many services operate from.

The nearest stop is Altrincham, a 10-15 minute walk away from both schools connecting from Manchester, Stretford and Sale. Trams on the Altrincham line run every 10 minutes.

Altrincham station is a 10-15 minute walk to the schools (or quicker on your bike). Check rail services are running before you leave home and have a backup plan (just in case they are not operating). The train connects to Stockport, Manchester, Knutsford and Cheshire stations.
