Sticker book competition terms and conditions

1. THE PROMOTER

The promoter is: Transport for Greater Manchester of 2 Piccadilly Place, Manchester, M1 3BG.

2. THE COMPETITION

2.1 The title of the competition is Bee Network Sticker Book Competition.

2.2 A limited run of free-to-use sticker books will be distributed across the Transport for Greater Manchester and Bee Network interchanges, tram fleets and across partner locations to encourage families to use our transport network for exciting days out across Greater Manchester. For each destination or attraction, there will be one sticker. Families will be able to take a picture of themselves with their sticker book or the sticker book by itself at a destination of their choice from the sticker book. Users can then upload their photo on beenetwork.com/stickers to enter the competition.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The competition will run from 0:00 21 July 2025 (the "Opening Date") to 0:00 31 August 2025 (the ""Closing Date"") inclusive.

3.2 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

3.3 To enter the competition, entrants must register their details on the online form provided on beenetwork.com/stickers by the Closing Date. Entrants must submit and upload a relevant photograph to enter the competition, as more particularly described in paragraph 2.2 and on beenetwork.com/stickers.

3.4 No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.

3.5 The Promoter will not accept:

  • (a) responsibility for competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
  • (b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. ELIGIBILITY

4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK over the age of 18, except:

  • (a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; or
  • (b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration.

4.2 If entrants are under the age of 18, the written consent of a parental or guardian is required, and the Promoter may ask for proof of this .

4.3 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

4.4 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

  • (a) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
  • (b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
  • (c) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
  • (d) incomplete.

4.5 There is a limit of one entry per person.

4.6 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

4.7 Competition entries cannot be returned.

5. THE PRIZE

5.1 The prizes are 4 x tickets to Cirque: The Greatest Show at Aviva Studios, 4 x tickets to Robin Hood (pantomime) at the Opera House and 4 x tickets to Operation Ouch! Brains, Bogies and You at the Science and Industry Museum.

5.2 There will be 4 prizes available at one per winner (i.e. one winner wins 4 x tickets).

5.3 There is no cash alternative for the prize.

5.4 The prize is not negotiable.

5.5 In order to claim the prize, you must ensure that you have provided the correct postal address and personal details to enable the prize to be delivered to you.

6. WINNERS

6.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

6.2 The Promoter will contact the winners personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.

6.3 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails marketing@beenetwork.com.

6.4 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter marketing@beenetwork.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

7.1 Winners will be put in contact, or be given instructions on how to contact, the relevant business partner to arrange for collection of their prize directly with them. Please allow 14 days for the Promoter to facilitate this contact or the provision of instructions for contact.

7.2 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 7 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

8. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

8.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the beenetwork.com/privacy-policy. See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.

9. USER CONTENT

9.1 The competition may require you to submit user generated content (for example, photographs). Where this occurs, you represent and warrant that:

  • (a) the content is your original works;
  • (b) the content is not defamatory, immoral, or otherwise against public interest and policy;
  • (c) the content does not infringe any third party rights;
  • (d) you have the consent of any relevant third party to use that third party’s image and such third party has waived any moral rights to that use;
  • (e) if a third party image is of a person under the age of 18, parental or guardian consent has been obtained; and
  • (f) you can and will produce evidence of any required consents at the Promoter’s request.

9.2 By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material or user content, you agree:

  • (a) the Promoter may, in their sole discretion, make your entry and any accompanying material or user content available on its website and in any other media or social media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence in perpetuity, for the full period of the intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials or user content, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials or user content for such purposes; and
  • (b) you will grant the Promoter an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, licence for the full term of copyright to use, alter, adapt or sub-license rights in the images and other submissions to third parties.

10. GENERAL

10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

10.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

10.3 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
