See map of Greater Manchester rail area

You can buy this ticket if you are aged between five and 16.

From age 11 you must carry proof of your age when you use this ticket. Use your igo card if you have one. If not, carry official ID with a photograph and your date of birth.

The costs and the benefits

A combined ticket lets you travel between a Greater Manchester train station, and a Metrolink tram stop for a calender month.

There's no need to buy a combined ticket if your rail journey is into Manchester city centre and the tram stop is in the Metrolink City Zone - you can use your train ticket for that tram journey for no extra cost.

See Metrolink network map

If your tram stop is outside the City Zone, the cost depends on how far you're travelling; but it's cheaper than buying two separate 28-day tickets.
