There are 99 stops on the Metrolink network, all stops have step free access, but some rely on lifts/escalators. All of our lifts and escalators are working, with the exception of the below.

Bury tram stop
The lift and escalator at Bury tram stop are currently out of service.
Customers requiring step-free access should telephone the Metrolink contact centre before they travel for additional journey planning support or use the customer service help point on-stop.

Deansgate- Castlefield tram stop
The lift at Deansgate Castlfield is currently out of service.

The lift on the Manchester bound platform at Firswood tram stop is currently out of service.
For customers travelling towards Manchester, step free access is via lift from the East Didsbury bound platform and use the track crossing to the Manchester bound platform.

Freehold tram stop
The lift on the outbound platform at Freehold tram stop is currently out of service.
For customers travelling towards Oldham and Rochdale, step free access is via lift from Block Lane to the Manchester bound platform and use the track crossing to the Oldham bound platform.

Manchester Airport tram stop
Both escalators at Manchester Airport Metrolink stop are currently out of service. Please use the steps or follow the signage for the lift.

Monsall tram stop
The lift at Monsall tram stop is currently out of service.
For customers travelling towards Manchester, step free access is via a ramp from Monsall Street then use the track crossing to access the Manchester bound platform.
For customers travelling away from Manchester, step free access is via a ramp from Monsall Street straight onto the platform.
Piccadilly tram stop
The escalator to exit Piccadilly Metrolink stop to the city centre or mainline station is currently out of service. Please follow the signage for the lift from platform level to the mezzanine and mainline station.
