Manchester Super Giants v Birmingham Phoenix

On Sunday 26 July, a double-header Hundred fixture takes place at Emirates Old Trafford with the Manchester Super Giants men's and women's teams facing Birmingham Phoenix.

The first ball for the women's fixture is at 11am and men's at 2.30pm.

Due to Metrolink works, there will be no tram service between the venue and the city centre/Altrincham.

A special replacement bus service from both the city centre and Altrincham will be operating for the fixture.

From Manchester city centre

Buses will depart from Piccadilly Gardens Stand G at the end closest to Primark.

Drop-off wil be on Talbot Road, next to the stadium.
Buses will operate from 10am to 3pm.

Back to Manchester city centre

Buses will depart from Talbot Road, outside Oaklands House.

From Altrincham

Buses will depart from Altrincham Interchange with the Stand TBC.
Drop-off will be on Talbot Road, next to the stadium.

Back to Altrincham

Buses will depart from Talbot Road, the same point as the drop-off location.

All Bee Network Tickets will be available to purchase, from the driver, and from the Bee Network App.
Valid Day/Week/Month bus and Metrolink tickets can also be used.
Single tickets are priced at £2 for adults, £1 for U16s.
Older people and those with disabilities will be eligible to travel for free provided they are in possession of a National Concessionary Travel Pass.

From Monday 13 July to Sunday 2 August, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. During this time, additional works will take place along the Eccles line, allowing us to reduce further closures of the tram network.

The following changes will be in place across the network:

No trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines
Services operating on the East Didsbury/Manchester Airport lines will terminate at Firswood.
Services operating on the Rochdale line will terminate at Exchange Square.

Services operating on the East Didsbury/Manchester Airport lines will terminate at Firswood.

This means you will be able to take a tram as normal from the likes of East Didsbury or Wythenshawe to the Firswood tram stop where all services terminate. From Firswood you can then walk to Emirates Old Trafford, which should take approximately ten minutes.

Trams will operate every 15 minutes on the East Didsbury and Airport lines.
