The lift at St Werburgh's Road tram stop is currently out of service. The stop's single lift is located away from the main platform, just off St Werburgh's Road. When the lift is not in operation, please use the ramps (and track crossing where necessary) to access the platform. All tram destinations stop at the island platform.

Customers requiring step-free access should telephone the Metrolink contact centre before they travel for additional journey planning support or use the customer service help point on-stop. Phone: 0161 244 1000. Lines are open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

For customers travelling towards Manchester, step-free access is via a platform entrance/exit to the Morrison's car park and the ramp at the pedestrian car park entrance/exit on the corner of Wilbraham Road / Albany Road. For customers travelling away from Manchester, step-free access is via a track crossing to the Manchester bound platform and exiting via the Morrison's car park entrance/exit as described above.
