National capped scheme
A national £2 single fares cap has been introduced for both adult and child fares.
This has no impact on the single fares cap that was introduced for Greater Manchester in September, but will mean that fares for cross boundary journeys will be no more than £2 (on participating operator services) – see £2 bus fare cap - or contact your operator for more information.
The scheme is set to run until 31 December 2024.
