Earlier this year, we completed a major programme of improvement works at Monsall, Moston and Newton Heath as part of our £150 million investment to future proof the network.
The work included renewing worn track, improving drainage and strengthening the foundations beneath the rails to help remove speed restrictions and improve reliability for customers.
We also completed works near Derker following the landslip in 2024, including the installation of steel supports to help stabilise the ground and prevent future movement.
The improvements will help keep trams running safely, smoothly and reliably for years to come.
