Rochdale line works

Saturday 15 - Friday 28 August

From Saturday 15 until Friday 28 August, track renewal works will take place on the Rochdale line, with the below service changes in place:

On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August only, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre.
From Monday 17 to Friday 28 August, no trams will run between Oldham Mumps and Rochdale Town Centre.

A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.

Please note: Tram tickets are only accepted on the replacement bus and will not be accepted on numbered bus services.

Works will also be taking place at Manchester town hall on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August. As a result, tram services will not operate via Exchange Square.

Tram services will resume from the start of service on Saturday 29 August.

Bury - Altrincham (via Market Street / peak service at 9am to 6.30pm)
Altrincham - Etihad Campus
Ashton-under-Lyne - Eccles (via MediaCityUK)

Tram services will operate every 7.5 minutes between Deansgate-Castlefield and Manchester Airport to support fans attending Live from Wythenshawe Park events.
