Rochdale line works

Monday 17 - Friday 28 August

From Monday 17 until Friday 28 August, track renewal works will take place on the Rochdale line.

During this time, no trams will run between Oldham Mumps and Rochdale Town Centre.

A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.

Please note: Tram tickets are only accepted on the replacement bus and will not be accepted on numbered bus services.

Tram services will resume from the start of service on Saturday 29 August.

Monday 17 to Thursday 20 August

Bury - Piccadilly
Bury - Altrincham (via Market Street / peak times only)
Altrincham - Etihad Campus
Ashton-Under-Lyne - Eccles (via MediaCityUK)
Oldham Mumps - East Didsbury (via Exchange Square / operating every 7.5 mins during peak times)
Manchester Airport - Victoria (via Market Street)
Trafford Centre - Crumpsall (via Exchange Square)

Peak-time only services will operate from 7am - 8pm,

Friday 21 to Saturday 22 August

Services will operate every 15 minutes:

Deansgate-Castlefield - Manchester Airport
Victoria - Manchester Airport (via Market Street)
Bury - Piccadilly
Bury - Altrincham (via Market Street / peak times only)
Altrincham - Etihad Campus
Ashton-Under-Lyne - Eccles (via MediaCityUK)
Oldham Mumps - East Didsbury (via Exchange Square)
Trafford Centre - Crumpsall (via Exchange Square)

Peak-time only services will operate from 7am - 8pm on Friday, and from 9am - 6.30pm on Saturday.

Tram services will operate every 7.5 minutes between Deansgate-Castlefield and Manchester Airport to support fans attending Live from Wythenshawe Park events.

Sunday 23 August

Services will operate every 15 minutes:
