24-hour transport pilot

135 and 17 now has 24-hour night bus services

We've added more bus services to our 24-hour transport pilot.

The 135 and 17 bus services now run all night on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, connecting Manchester with Bury via Whitefield and Rochdale via Middleton, serving key employment sites and hospitality venues in both town centres.

The 135 and 17 joins the V1 and 36 bus services as 24-hour services during the pilot:

  • 135 and 17: will run three days a week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights).
  • V1 and 36: will continue to run seven days a week (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Christmas Eve night).
