The ASLEF Union have announced strike action from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 May.
Different rail operators will be affected on each day of the strike, with full details below. Operators that run services in and around Greater Manchester are in bold.

- Southeastern
- Southern (including the Gatwick Express)
- South Western Railway (including Island Line)
Wednesday 8 May
- Avanti West Coast
- Chiltern Railways
- CrossCountry
- East Midlands Railway
- Great Western Railway
- West Midlands Trains
Thursday 9 May
- LNER
- Northern Trains
- TransPennine Trains
Trams will not be affected by strikes during this time.
In addition, action short of a strike (meaning ASLEF members will withdraw from working overtime) will be in place from Monday 6 to Saturday 11 May.
