  On Sunday 29 March, from the start of service until 10am, no trams will operate through Victoria. During this time, the Rochdale and Bury lines will terminate at Victoria, the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square and services from Manchester Airport will operate to Piccadilly. A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Victoria until 11am.

  1. Mon 30 Mar, 12:00am – until further notice

  From Monday 30 March until  autumn , a revised timetable will be introduced  across the tram network. There will still be reliable and frequent tram services running every 15 minutes, supported by a peak service running every 7.5 minutes at the busiest times on the most popular lines. This is to allow significant work to take place to build the capacity and resilience of the  tracks, trams and  workforce.

  Easter Bank Holiday - Tram Improvement Works

  1. Fri 03 Apr, 12:00am – Tue 07 Apr, 2:00am

  From Friday 3 to Monday 6 April, tram improvement works will take place at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar. No trams will operate on the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with further service changes in place across the network. A replacement bus service will operate between the affected stops.

  Ashton Line - Tram Improvement Works

  1. Sat 11 Apr, 3:00am – Mon 13 Apr, 2:00am

  On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April, track repair works will take place on the Ashton line. During this time, no trams will operate between Piccadilly Gardens and Ashton-under-Lyne. A bus replacement service will run between the affected stops.

  1. Sun 10 May, 12:00am – Sun 10 May, 11:00am

  On Sunday 10 May, from the start of service, track repair works will take place near Victoria until 10am. During this time, no trams will operate through Victoria. The Rochdale line will also undergo improvements work until 11am. During this time, no trams will operate between Victoria and Rochdale Town Centre. There will be further service changes on the Bury, East Didsbury and Manchester Airport lines.

  Piccadilly Gardens - Tram Improvement Works

  1. Mon 25 May, 12:00am – Sat 30 May, 2:00am

  From Monday 25 to Friday 29 May, improvement works will take place at Piccadilly Gardens. During this time, no trams will operate between St Peter's Square/Market Street and Piccadilly. There will be service changes on the Ashton-under-Lyne, Eccles, East Didsbury, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines. Customers may need to change trams, take a short walk or use the free bus to continue their journeys.
