Ince Green Lane in Wigan will be closed from Monday 22 April for 31 weeks to allow for a Network Rail electrification project.
The road will be closed from its junction with Christopher Street to its junction with Patricroft Road. The closure will be in place 24 hours.
The diversion route for traffic will be: Warrington Road - Warrington Lane - Darlington Street East - Manchester Road.
