North Road, Droylsden will be closed on either side of the junction with Edge Lane until Friday 24 May, for the installation of pedestrian facilities at the signalised junction.
Edge Lane will remain open during these works.
The diversion for east bound vehicular traffic will be via Seymour Road South, Manchester, Ashton New Road, Manchester Road, Tameside, Manor Road and Lewis Road.
The alternative route for westbound vehicular traffic will be via Lewis Road, Tameside, Davenport Street, Manchester Road, Ashton New Road, Manchester and Seymour Road South.
