Until February 2024

  • The on-slip road at Emmott Way/A62 Oldham Way will be closed.
  • Traffic will be down to one lane in both directions on Oldham Way.
  • Eastbound traffic on Oldham Way will crossover onto the west bound side, between the on-slip Road to Emmott Way and return back on to the east bound carriageway after Waterloo Street.
  • Waterloo Street will be closed from Rhodes Bank to the junction of Woodstock Street.
  • Wellington Street will be closed underneath Oldham Way.
  • A hard shoulder and one lane closures will be in place on the M67 in both directions. The lanes closures will be in place between junction 3 to junction 1A Westbound and from junction 1A to just after junction 2 Eastbound.

Diversion routes

A signed diversion will be in place and traffic will be diverted via Waterloo Street/Union Street/Greaves Street/Yorkshire Street and Prince Street.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid Union Street eastbound/Bow Street and use the signed diversion in place.

Increased traffic volumes are expected along the diversion route and at King Street roundabout.
