From Saturday 28 October until Monday 18 December, works will take place at the junction of Liverpool Road and Water Street. This is so that Cadent Gas can carry out urgent work in the area.

Until Tuesday 5 December, Water Street will be closed in both directions.
A signed diversion will be in place and traffic will be diverted via Trinity Way, Edgerton Street, Chester Road interchange, Bridgewater Viaduct and Deansgate.
These works are likely to cause delays so please plan your journeys accordingly.
Please note that dates might be subject to change due to weather conditions.
The 33-bus service will divert via Deansgate, Bridgewater Viaduct, Chester Road, Egerton Street and Regent Road in both directions. You can get off and on at all stops on the diversion route.
