All bus services in Greater Manchester are now under local control as part of the Bee Network, making it easier for you to get around.

Bus company tickets are not valid on Bee Network services so make sure you’ve got the right ticket for your journey.

City Campus Manchester is in easy reach of a tram stop. The City Campus can be reached on foot in under 10-minutes from Victoria tram stop.

Please note that if you would like to travel to the CityLabs, Nicholls Campus or Openshaw campus, there will be approximately a 25-30 minute walk or additional bus journey to add to your travel plans.

Victoria

Here you can catch trams that terminate at Piccadilly, Manchester Airport, Altrincham, East Didsbury, Shaw and Crompton, Rochdale Town Centre and Bury.

Exchange Square

Here you can catch trams that terminate at East Didsbury, Shaw and Crompton and Rochdale Town Centre.

Shudehill and Market Street

Here you can catch trams that terminate at Piccadilly, Manchester Airport, Altrincham and Bury.

Piccadilly Gardens and Piccadilly

Here you can catch trams that terminate at Ashton-under-Lyne, Eccles, Altrincham and Bury.

Deansgate-Castlefield and St Peter's Square

Here you can catch trams that terminate at Shaw and Crompton, East Didsbury, Rochdale Town Centre, Victoria, Manchester Airport, Bury, Altrincham, Piccadilly, Ashton and Eccles.

For City Campus Manchester, we'd advise alighting at Manchester Victoria for an 8 minute walk to the campus.

For Openshaw Campus, you can alight at Ashburys and finish the journey on foot, arriving at the campus in approximately 10 minutes.

Walking

Accessibility on Metrolink

Metrolink is a modern system with a range of accessibility features. All Metrolink trams and tram stops are accessible for wheelchair users.

Every tram stop has:

A ramp, lift, or escalator - for the latest service updates for lifts and escalators at your stop, visit our dedicated webpage.
Step-free access for wheelchair users and people with pushchairs
CCTV and emergency call-points
platforms with tactile edges for visually impaired passengers.

Accessibility on the bus

Many buses have ramps and can accommodate wheelchairs. Some new buses also have display screens, route numbers, destination displays and audio-visual ‘next stop’ announcements.

A lot of bus operators have low floor buses to make it easier for people who use wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and those with small children and pushchairs.
